Security forces have apprehended a self styled sergeant major of the NSCN (Khaplang) militant outfit. Banhom Hangphuk was arrested during an operation by the 9th battalion of the Rajputana Rifles
Security forces have apprehended a self styled sergeant major of the NSCN (Khaplang) militant outfit.
Banhom Hangphuk was arrested during an operation by the 9th battalion of the Rajputana Rifles at Jagun in Tinsukia district of Assam.
The arrested NSCN-K cadre is 32 years old and is hails from Changlang district in Arunachal Pradesh.
The apprehended cadre was handed over to the police at Jagun and an FIR was lodged against him.
