Assam HSLC Exams 2024 Results Out: Pass percentage at 75.7%. Check toppers’ list here

A total of 4, 19, 78 students appeared in HSLC 2024

The results of the High School Leaving Certificate examination 2024, conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Assam, or SEBA, were declared today.

A total of 4 lakh 19 thousand and 78 students appeared in HSLC 2024, of this 75.7 percent students passed the exam.

The top five meritorious students of the exam in order of merit are Jorhat’s Anurag Doloi, Bishwanath’s Jharna Saikia, Majuli’s Manash Pratim Saikia, Barpeta’s Bedanta Choudhury, and Nagaon’s Devashree Kashyap.

Anurag Doloi scored an aggregate of 593 marks, followed by Jharna Saikia who scored 590 marks. Manash Pratim Saikia, Bedanta Choudhury and Devashree Kashyap, all of whom scored an aggregate of 588 marks each, were respectively placed 3rd, 4th and 5th in the merit list.

Moreover, 1,93,159 students passed the examination with first division marks, 1,50,764 students passed the exam in 2nd division marks and 60,680 students passed the examination with 3rd division marks.

With a pass percentage of 91.2 percent, Chirang is the best performing district, followed by Nalbari with 88.1 percent, and Baksa is placed 3rd with 86.9 percent. Udalguri, with a pass percentage of 60.9 percent, is the district with the lowest pass percentage.
