Assam CM Lost His Cool and Shouted,”Am I a Thief?
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was suddenly enraged over a heavy police presence around him in Silchar, questioning their deployment with a sharp remark: “Am I a thief that you surround me with so many cops?”
The incident unfolded at the Deshabhakta Tarunram Phukan Higher Secondary School in Silchar on Sunday when he was attending the 50th-anniversary celebration of the school.
While interacting with the public and the students, the CM became angry over the heavy police and security presence, scolding personnel and emphasising that the public should always be prioritized above all.
Questioning whether such an extensive police cover was necessary, CM Sarma asks, “Am I a thief or dacoit that you surround me with so many cops??
