Assam: Body of 1-year-old found on his first birthday, father missing

In a shocking incident reported from Gohpur in Assam district, a dead body of a one-year-old child was recovered on his birthday. The dead body of the child was found lying in the midst of a paddy field.
The deceased has been identified as Paragjyoti Bordoloi.
According to reports, the father and the child went to the market for shopping on Wednesday evening for his birthday but the duo did not return home till late at night. The father is still said to be missing.
“Stern action should be taken against the culprits who have killed my son. My son did not make any mistake. My son was too innocent to be killed like this”, said the deceased’s mother.
A cycle and a bag of items were found near the child’s dead body. Further details are awaited.
