The Assam government is likely to issue a fresh set of standard operating procedures (SOPs) amid the rising number of Coronavirus cases in the state As per the new SOPs,

The Assam government is likely to issue a fresh set of standard operating procedures (SOPs) amid the rising number of Coronavirus cases in the state

As per the new SOPs, all shops and business establishments are to be closed by 2 PM.

Moreover, night curfew will also be enforced across the state from 6 PM.

However, the government is yet to make a formal announcement.

With a positivity rate of 8.02 percent, Assam yesterday registered the highest single-day spike this year as 4,489 more people tested positive for Coronavirus.
