Arunachal: 3 houses gutted in massive fire in Bomdila

As many as three houses were reduced to ashes in a massive fire that broke out in Arunachal Pradesh's Bomdila on Wednesday evening.

Three houses were reduced to ashes due to a massive fire.

As per sources, the the fire broke out near Sahara Tyre in Bomdila at around 8.15 pm last night.

Locals tried to extinguish the flames, called fire tenders and evacuated residents of nearby houses on time.

Upon recieveing information, fire tenders,police personnel, Sector Headquarter SSB personnel, District Disaster Management officer and administrative officers rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

No casualties have been reported.

The cause of the fire is yet to assertained.

Meanwhile, a video from the site showed a local youth risking his life by entering a burning house and trying to douse the fire and preventing it from spreading by splashing buckets of water.
