Karateka from Arunachal Abab Sangdo to represent India at 19th Asian Games

Twenty-one-year-old Sangdo will compete in the senior individual kata event
Karateka from Arunachal Pradesh, Abab Sangdo will represent India at the upcoming 19th Asian Games scheduled to be held in China’s Hangzhou city from 23rd September to 8th October 2023.
The Asian Games which were postponed last year is scheduled to be held in China’s Hangzhou from September 23 to October 8, 2023.
Twenty-one-year-old Sangdo will compete in the senior individual kata event.
The Karateka was selected after placing first in the trial selection held on June 19 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi under the guidance of the Sports Authority of India (SAI).
Besides, Sangdo, many other athletes –Radha Bangsia, skater Nani Sonam Kumari Rupa Bayor will also participate in the 19th Asian Games.
