Cong leader Sudip Roy Barman alleges goons obstructing voters; says BJP believes in Muscle & Money Power

Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman who is contesting from the Agartala constituency alleged that “goons” are obstructing the voters from exercising their franchise. Sudip Roy Barman also alleged police inaction as far as dealing with such kind of incidents is concerned.
Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, Sudip Roy Barman said,”in other parts of the state especially in the South, all the goons are obstructing the electors approaching the centres. The police is helpless. silent spectator.”
Barman added,”We have lodged several complaints but no action has been initiated so far against those goons obstructing the polls.”
Meanwhile, Sudip Roy Barman also came out all guns blazing against the ruling BJP and alleged that the Saffron Party does not believe in democracy.
The Congress leader said,”BJP does not believe in democracy. They believe in muscle power and money power. They are obstructing, restricting the electors approaching the centres. Many such incidents took place in many parts of the constituency (Agartala).”
