Arunachal youths missing near LAC untraceable

Despite relentless efforts by the Army, Arunachal Pradesh Police and locals, the duo remains untraceable. Search & rescue ops still continue.
Bayingso Manyu and Batelium Tikro remains untraceable after the duo went missing from an area along the Line of Actual Control at Hayuliang in Arunachal Pradesh’s Anjaw district.
All efforts made by security forces and the locals since the last 2 months to trace and rescue the youths have gone in vain.
Both Manyu and Tikro went missing after they had gone to collect medicinal herbs. It is suspected that both of them may have inadvertently crossed the LAC and might have been apprehended by the Chinese PLA.
As per sources, a massive manhunt has been launched by the Arunachal Pradesh Police in search of the missing youths. The Army as well is also conducting search operation on its own, sources added.
