AK Mishra-Led 3-Member GOI Team in Dimapur for Talks with ENPO On Frontier Nagaland Territory Tomorrow

Earlier, on January 12, the ENPO had convened a consultative meeting with the Eastern Nagaland Legislators Union.

A 13-member ENPO delegation led by A Chingmak Chang will attend the second tripartite meet with the Centre and Nagaland government delegations at the police guest house in Chumoukedima tomorrow. The crucial meeting will begin at 11 am.

Frontal organisations of the eastern districts including presidents of tribal groups will also be a part of the 13-member delegation. Special adviser, MHA, AK Mishra will lead the 3-member central team in the meet. Mishra has already arrived in Dimapur to attend the meet.

Meanwhile, ENPO sources told Northeast Live that they are hopeful of giving a final shape to the proposed Frontier Nagaland Territory agreement in tomorrow’s meet.

Earlier, on January 12, the ENPO had convened a consultative meeting with the Eastern Nagaland Legislators Union.

The ENPO had also appealed to all its Frontal Organisations, Tribal Organisations and the Study Team to attend the consultative meeting. As per inputs, the ENPO held a closed-door consultative meet with the ENLU with discussions going on for over 3 hours. Representatives of frontal organisations from the 6 ENPO districts also attended the meet.

The first round of talks on the proposed Frontier Nagaland Territory was held on December 13th.
