The STDCM has taken at least 6 resolutions in the public convention to press for it's demand. But, what will be the stand of the government?
The Scheduled Tribe Demand Committee of Manipur has adopted 6 resolutions in the public convention held today to press for the inclusion of the indigenous Meitei community in the Scheduled Tribes list.
Among the resolutions include, continuation of sit-in protests, hand over memorandums to MPs and MLAs, launching Meira rallies, imposition of shutdown and other general strikes based on time and situation.

Besides the STDCM also urged upon the people to unanimously support the demand and translating the resolutions into actions.
Representatives of over 20 different civil and students bodies attended the convention.
For almost 10 years, the STDCM has been demanding the state government to furnish necessary documents and recommendation for inclusion of Meitei community in Scheduled Tribes list.
