Mother of two strangulated by husband in Guwahati

As per inputs, the victim, identified as Hameda Begum, was allegedly strangulated to death by her husband, who is now absconding
In another chilling incident of murder in Guwahati, a man allegedly strangulated his wife to death in the city’s Beharbari area.
The incident took place last night at Sonkuchi near Beharbari in Guwahati and came to light today.
The victim has been identified as Hameda Begum.
As per inputs, the accused, identified as Zail Haque is now absconding.
The deceased was the mother of two children. The family reportedly hails from Goalpara and has been living in Guwahati in rented accommodation.
The police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
Similarly, in another incident, a businessman stabbed his wife and daughter to death over an alleged family feud in Barpeta, Assam.
The Barpeta police have arrested the accused and are investigating the matter.
