In a horrific incident, the body of the missing Guwahati man, Raghavendra Kumar Gupta, was found inside a gunny bag on Thursday night. What is more gruesome is that the man’s eyes have been gouged out, jaws smashed, ears and beard pulled out leaving face mutilated beyond recognition.

The body was recovered from behind the houses near Kamakhya Railway Station where he used to work. Locals complained of foul smell coming from a sack which led to the recovery of the body.
32-year-old Gupta, a resident of busy Paltan Bazar area of Guwahati, was last seen on July 8 outside the railway station where he had parked his scooter. He was missing since.

Police have arrested four people including a woman, her son and daughter in connection with the nauseating murder.

The reason behind the killing is not known yet.
