Determined to deal with corruption with an iron hand, affirms Arunachal CM Pema Khandu

CM Khandu chaired a crucial meeting with top officials in various departments and discussed ways to ensure that there is holistic development in the state.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has reaffirmed that his government is committed to fully wipe out corruption from the state. Sending out a clear and loud message CM Khandu has said that cases of corruption will be dealt with an iron hand.
To make sure that the mission succeeds, CM Khandu chaired a meeting with senior officials of the Arunachal Pradesh Government and discussed various aspects pertaining to fruitful governance and resolve issues connected to the people.
In the meeting, CM Khandu urged the officials to work for the holistic growth of the state and usher a new era of transformation.
Sharing his thoughts in a post on X, CM Khandu said, “I call upon the government employees to change their mindset who have normalized corruption as we are determined to deal with corruption with an iron hand.
I want all our officers to be an agent of positive change, who should always be remembered for their good works. They will also take pride in being an active partner in transforming our beautiful State and its lovely people’s ease of living.”
The officers during the meeting with the Arunachal Pradesh CM also expressed their views and shared plans to ensure that there is maximum development in the frontier state. CM Khandu in the all important meeting also launched 3 e-government projects to make governance more transparent.
In an another post, CM Khandu said, “Had an insightful interaction with senior officers at my office today. They shared their valuable feedback about Arunachal’s contribution towards the goal of Viksit Bharat by being a developed State.
Also launched three e-governance projects – E-Ticketing system, Vigilance System for SIC and Digital Library, another major step towards swift and transparent governance.”
During the meeting, CM Khandu also appreciated the role of the officers in various departments for their immense contributions in taking Arunachal Pradesh towards development and prosperity. He said that the government is leaving no stone unturned for ensuring that there is inclusive development in the state.
CM in a post on X stated, “Team Arunachal is working day in and day out to ensure the State’s multifaceted development where no one is left behind.
I, along with Team Arunachal take pride in the fact that our State, which used to be at the bottom in development parameters, is now being counted among top performers.
This has been possible because of the fact that our team has worked with a complete sense of ownership.”
Worth mentioning that the Arunachal Chief Minister has been quite vocal against corruption and had even warned about the use of money culture during election. On February 10, Chief Minister Pema Khandu had appealed the people to say no to money-culture and clan-based politics.
Khandu had urged people to vote only on the basis of performance.
