Arunachal: People thank PM Modi for making Donyi Polo airport a reality

Arunachal: PM Modi inaugurates strategic airport. People happy as the frontier state now has access to rest of nation via air.

People in Arunachal Pradesh are upbeat especially after Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Donyi Polo airport for the service of the nation today. It was a sea of people at the inaugural function in Itanagar, when Prime Minister Modi clicked the remote to launch the much anticipated air project.

Those who attended the event seemed to be quite happy as the airport will act as a booster for the frontier state in diverse aspects.

“The airport is beneficial for everyone, especially for ill people. It will also save us time. Our state has developed in all aspects recently. I am thankful to PM Modi,” a local said at the inaugural function of Donyi Polo Airport.

Meanwhile, another individual expressed her gratefulness to Chief Minister Pema Khandu for playing a pivotal role in making the dream project a reality. She said, “I am grateful to the Pema Khandu government for giving local people their own airport. Earlier we had to travel to Guwahati & Kolkata to catch flights now we will have our own airport.”

Other individuals who also had the desire to speak opined that the airport will benefit everyone especially in terms of medical emergency.

“Daily connectivity will get a big boost. It is a dream come true for the people of Arunachal. Education and health sector is likely to get a big boost. We want to thank Modi government at this juncture. We thank Prime Minister Modi from our hearts, since he has fulfilled a long pending demand. The airport will help us connect with the rest of the nation. ,” said a few other individuals.
