4 from Nagaland dies in road accident in Assam

The accident occurred at the NH-39 in Assam's Karbi Anglong district.
Four persons including a woman hailing from Nagaland lost their lives in a horrific road mishap in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district today.
The deceased have been identified as N Langfang Konyak (35 years), Niangmei B Konyak (33 years), Niamson (23 years) and Nyapa (27 years), all residents of Mon district. The accident occurred when 2 SUVs collided head on in the National Highway-39.
Four others were grievously injured in the accident. Those injured have been identified as Kaiyang (20), Anglong (11), Taibey (29) who also hail from Mon district. Driver of one of the SUVs, Ratul Basumatary of Gorchuk in Guwahati, was also injured in the accident.
