Political war continues to grow over anomalies and delay in completion of Trans Arunachal Highway.

The Arunachal Pradesh Congress committee today rejected the defamation case filed by Ziro MLA Tage Taki and Raga MLA Tamar Murtem in connection with the Trans Arunachal highway scam.

The Congress President alleged that there are certain loopholes in connection with the delay of the project. The Congress further said that it will soon call on the governor with proper documents of the road project.

Moreover, Congress President Takam Sanjoy alleged that a high level corruption and match fixing is involved in this connection. The Congress further demanded that the CBI should immediately issue a suo motu case in this regard.

The Congress President also stated that he was earlier informed about an MLA receiving an amount of Rs 3 crore as compensation by district settlement officer, although the President did not disclosed the name of the MLA.
