A special court in Arunachal Pradesh granted two days’ extension of police custody yesterday for the three accused in the scam involving misappropriation of compensation amount under the Trans-Arunachal Highway project in Lower Subansiri district.

The seven-day police custody of former Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Kemo Lollen, DLRSO Bharat Lingu and businessman Likha Maj, currently admitted in the Rama Krishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, was supposed to end on Monday. But the SIC applied for an extension and received an additional two days of custody.
