Mizoram Chhantu Pawl burns effigy of Manipur CM N Biren Singh

Amid the volatile situation in Manipur, Aizawl-based Mizoram Chhantu Pawl (MCP) burnt an effigy of Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh.

As per sources, members of various political parties and civil society organisations also took part in the burning of CM Biren Singh’s effigy. Burning CM Biren Singh’s effigy yesterday, June 3, MCP also accused the Chief Minister of being responsible for the deaths of at least 73 ‘Mizo kindred brothers’ and the torching of houses belonging to the ‘Kuki-Zo’ community
