One injured after miscreants open fire at a business in Jorhat

The miscreants had opened fire at the business outlet to rob the store

In a sensational incident, two miscreants opened fire at a business outlet in Assam’s Jorhat injuring one person.

The injured person has been identified as Sunil Sharma.

As per reports, the miscreants had opened fire at the business outlet with an intention of robbing the store.

However, while one of the two miscreants was caught by the locals, the other one managed to escape.

The nabbed miscreant has been identified as Arup Gogoi.

Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the other miscreant who managed to flee the spot.

Police recovered a pistol from the spot along with a bag that contained a dagger and other items.
