Nagaland Ad hoc teachers call off stir. Big development after govt holds meet with All Nagaland Ad Hoc Teachers 2015 batch, the All Nagaland School Teachers Association or ANSTA, Principal

The ad hoc teachers in Nagaland have decided to call of the stir after 12 days of agitation. The move comes after a key meeting between All Nagaland Ad Hoc Teachers 2015 batch, the All Nagaland School Teachers Association or ANSTA, Principal Secretary to CM, Commissioner and Secretary School Education & SCERT and Joint Mission Director Samagra Shiksha.

Now what transpired in this all important meeting?

Well, as per reliable sources, it was unanimously decided that a High Powered Committee will be set up within the next 15 days which will be headed by Principal Secretary or Commissioner Secretary. The HPC will then submit its recommendation by June 2023, and thereafter take up the issue to resolve the matter of ANATG-2015 Batch within December 2023.

Further, it was also decided to continue with the service extension for the teachers till the matter is resolved. However, this dispensation would not be applicable to proxy and untrained teachers.

The issue of 7th Revision of Pay will be based on the recommendations of the HPC, and ANATG 2015 batch as well as the ANSTA members will be given opportunity to present their case before the committee.

The HPC has also been tasked to hold a review meeting on the issue every 2 months.
