Nine fresh COVID-19 cases in Mizoram; tally rises to 130

Nine more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Mizoram on Thursday, taking the state’s overall tally to 130. Out of total 615 samples processed at Zoram Medical College (ZMC)
Nine more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Mizoram on Thursday, taking the state’s overall tally to 130.
Out of total 615 samples processed at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) lab on 17th June, 9 samples were found COVID-19 positive, while 499 samples have tested negative and the results of 107 samples are still awaited.
Meanwhile, 8 persons have recovered from the disease and will be discharged from the state-run Zoram Medical College on Friday.
DIPR Mizoram in a tweet informed, “From the confirmed COVID-19 cases detected at Kolasib Quarantine Facility on the night of 1st June, 8 cases have tested negative twice. They are expected to be discharged from ZMC tomorrow – Dr. R. Lalthangliana, Health Minister.”
The number of active cases in the state now stands at 121, while 9 persons have recovered from the disease.
