The enchanting culture of Assam will be displayed on the stage of Filmfare Awards Ceremony to be held from 6 PM today at Sarusajai Stadium of Guwahati.

A troop of 160 artistes will mesmerize the audience with their performance of Bihu and Sattriya. The artistes will also present the culture of other 26 tribes of the state.

On the other hand, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan will take part in the cultural programme of Assam’s team.

Assamese artistes Gayatri Mahanta and Aimee Baruah will also perform in the event.

While Sattriya dance has been directed by noted Sattriya dance exponent Jatin Goswami, Ranjit Gogoi has directed the Bihu and dances of other tribes.
