The United Committee Manipur has threatened the Centre of launching more intensified agitations, if the Centre fails to communicate the State Government and the stakeholders on the developments in the Naga Peace Process before the October 31 deadline.
This was stated by UCM General Secretary Khuraijam Athouba exclusively to Northeast Live during the massive protest rally taken out by COCOMI in Imphal.
The protestors, meanwhile, have submitted a memorandum to Governor Najma Heptula and are currently meeting Chief Minister N Biren Singh to submit a copy of the memorandum reiterating its stand of not compromising with Manipur’s territorial integrity post settlement of Naga Political issue.
