Assam Rifles Hosts Career Counseling Session for Aspiring Armed Forces Candidates in Nagaland

Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Air Force Recruitment Office, Guwahati, organized a career counselling and awareness campaign on careers in the Armed Forces at Woodland Higher Secondary School and Immanuel Higher Secondary School in Zunheboto District, Nagaland, on July 22, 2024.

The event aimed to guide students interested in joining the Armed Forces, including the Indian Army and Indian Air Force.

The event focused on educating students about the recruitment processes, eligibility criteria, training programs, and career progression in the Armed Forces. Emphasis was placed on the rigorous selection procedures, including exams, fitness tests, medical assessments, and interviews. A quiz session was also organized during the event, with prizes awarded to participants.

Attended by 110 students from Woodland Higher Secondary School and 95 students from Immanuel Higher Secondary School, along with principals and teachers, the initiative provided comprehensive support for aspiring candidates.

The campaign highlighted Assam Rifles’ commitment to nurturing and mentoring the next generation of service-minded individuals eager to contribute to the nation’s defence forces.

By collaborating with the Air Force Recruitment Office, Guwahati, Assam Rifles demonstrated its dedication to guiding and supporting students in their aspirations to join the Armed Forces.

The event aimed to instill a sense of duty and patriotism among the students, offering them a clear pathway to a career in the defence sector.
