Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu has blamed China for the deprivation of the Himalayan state.

Addressing a gathering during the 10th Tawang Maitree Diwas, the Arunachal chief minister alleged that there is Chinese hand in blocking foreign funding in the state.

Stating that Arunachal has huge potential for growth, Khandu lamented that the state is deprived of foreign funding from international financial institutions due to objection from China.

In a social media post Khandu also said that Chinese objection on foreign loans by International Financial Institutions for development has hit hard the growth in Arunachal.

Khandu also suggested various ways to bolster the state’s economic growth from within.

It may be mentioned here that China has been time and again objecting to the visit of any foreign leader or Indian union ministers to Arunachal which it calls disputed.
