Stiff opposition to the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016 continues in Assam with people from different sections of the society joining hands against the Bill.
The Manav Adhikar Sangram Samiti of Lakhimpur in this regard has initiated a mass campaign wherein post cards signed by more than ten thousand people voicing their concerns will be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind.
