Tension still grips Diphu town in Karbi Anglong district of Assam following a violent clash between the police and irate public. Situation went out of hand after a furious mob
Tension still grips Diphu town in Karbi Anglong district of Assam following a violent clash between the police and irate public.
Situation went out of hand after a furious mob went on a rampage as they gheraoed the local police station demanding that the person who was arrested for alleged rape and murder should be handed over to them.
The police while trying to disperse the mob were pelted with stones who retaliated with baton charge and firing rubber bullets.
