With full of love and appreciation, here is how NE CMs, Politicians celebrated Mother’s Day

Starting from Nagaland CM and Deputy CM Y Patton to Chief Minister of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal and TMC leader Mukul Sangma all expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their mother

The entire world is busy celebrating Mother’s Day, the special occasion dedicated to honour and celebrating the remarkable women who have embraced the role of motherhood.

Chief Minister of Northeastern states and other ministers, and poli
ticians have also joined the celebrations and expressed gratitude, love, and appreciation for the selfless love, care, and that mothers give, recognise the countless sacrifices they make and make them feel cherished and loved.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma took to Twitter and expressed his love and appreciation to his mother, Soradini K. Sangma, and wife, Mehtab Chandee to wish them a happy Mother’s Day.

CM Sangma wrote, “Happy #MothersDay to the pillars of my life— to my Aai for raising me with the values that make me today and to my better half for standing by me & for being the best mother to our girls. Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful Mothers. God bless.”

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu also expressed love and gratitude for his mother on this occasion and tweeted, “I grew up watching her purity of soul, commitment to diligence, extraordinary discipline and towering affection. I am what I am because of my Maa! Forever owe her for my life, and shaping me. On #MothersDay, gratitude to all mothers who make this earth so warm, so beautiful.”

“Maa-the first cradle, the finest. Devine bliss to have the affection & care of Maa. Gratitude.” tweeted Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio said the love of a mother personifies the epitome of compassion, selfless love and inner strength. A mother is a pillar, the backbone and sustaining force for a family as well as society.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and to those who play the role of a mother. #HappyMothersDay,” CM Rio tweeted.

Wishing Mother’s Day to all the remarkable mothers out there, Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton wrote, ” A mother is the cornerstone of a family and her love, countless sacrifices and support are indispensable in shaping the journeys of each of us. Wishing all the amazing mothers an abundance of happiness, love and laughter!.”

Former Meghalaya Chief Minister and TMC leader Dr. Mukul Sangma also took to Twitter and wrote, “Happy #MothersDay to all the mothers – you all are so special! Oh, how I miss the enduring love & unsurpassable care; ceaseless encouragement & motivation I received from my dearest mother while she was around! May mothers be d strongest glue in every family.”
