Now this is real dedication to work and to the people, and Sewa Aapke Dwar (service at your door) in its true sense.

Liyi Bagra, Deputy Commissioner of Shi Yomi district in Arunachal Pradesh was seen travelling in the bucket of a JCB for 14 km. Bagra and his team had to take the ride on the JCB because the road to Komte village in the district is in such a bad shape that it cannot be reached otherwise.

DC Bagra had gone to the village to monitor implementation of the ambitious Sewa Aapke Dwar programme, a unique initiative of the Pema Khandu led Arunachal Pradesh government to bridge the gap between government and the people.

The journey of the team was definitely risky and tough as the JCB precariously moved up and down while negotiating the bad road.

After reaching the village, Bagra and his officials were accorded a warm welcome by the villagers.
While interacting with people, DC Bagra assured the people that the road would soon be constructed properly through the centrally sponsored PMGSY scheme.

The DC also inspected the ongoing construction work of a mobile tower in the village.

Apart from Komte village, people from Pangri, Geching, and Pongte village too depend on this one road to connect with the rest of the world.
