Voting for final phase of BTC polls in Assam concludes

The voting for the final phase of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections has concluded in 19 seats of Chirang and Kokrajhar districts amid tight security on Thursday. Nearly 79 percent

The voting for the final phase of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections has concluded in 19 seats of Chirang and Kokrajhar districts amid tight security on Thursday.

Nearly 79 percent polling has been recorded till the last report came in. As many as 111 candidates are in fray in the second phase.

The first phase of voting was held on the 7th of this month for 21 seats.

Over 77 percent polling was reported in the first phase. The Counting of votes for both phases will take place on Saturday.
