USTM Medical College Cannot Function Without Act: Meghalaya Cabinet
In another important decision, the Meghalaya Cabinet said the USTM medical college cannot function without a proper Act and the state government is mandated to monitor allocation of seats and fees for different courses. Briefing the media about the cabinet decision, Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh said another meeting will be held on Wednesday where Chief Minister Conrad Sangma would be present. The meeting will be to discuss the plan for the Act which will be reviewed by the Cabinet again.
