Amid the clamor to stop Assam tourist taxis from operating at tourist spots in Meghalaya, The government-constituted committee, led by Director of Tourism Cyril Diengdoh, has requested the Meghalaya tourist taxi associations to submit their suggestions in writing for further examination. After the meeting, Diengdoh addressed the media, stating that he had asked all tourist taxi associations to provide their suggestions in writing to the committee for consideration.
