CM Saha said that Rs. 100 crore has been sanctioned for the construction, and the land has already been secured.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha today inspected the land acquired for the construction of Tripura Bhawan in Navi Mumbai.

CM Saha said that Rs. 100 crore has been sanctioned for the construction, and the land has already been secured.

He expressed confidence that the initiative will greatly benefit the people of Tripura in the near future, enhancing support for citizens visiting Mumbai.

The Bhawan is being established to cater to the needs of Tripura residents, including cancer patients traveling to the city for treatment at the TATA Memorial Centre.

During his visit to Mumbai, where he attended the oath-taking ceremony of Maharashtra’s newly elected Chief Minister, CM Manik Saha took the opportunity to review the progress of the Tripura Bhawan project. He emphasized the state’s long-standing need for such a facility and noted the strategic location of the land, close to Tata Cancer Hospital with easy road access.

“We currently don’t have a Tripura Bhawan in Mumbai, and the cabinet decided to establish one. I came to physically verify the land, which is well-situated near Tata Cancer Hospital. States like Sikkim are also setting up Bhawans in this area. I reviewed the building’s design, and some modifications will be made,” said CM Saha.

He mentioned that some modifications would be made.

“In the coming days, the people of Tripura will benefit from this initiative,” Chief Minister Saha added.
