Three girls drown while bathing in river in Assam’s Karbi Anglong

In a tragic incident, three young girls lost their lives who went to take a bath in the river near the Baithalangso area of West Karbi Anglong.
The victims have been identified as Veronica Terangpi, Saranika Terangpi, and Adarsanei Terangpi.
The incident occurred when the three girls went to the river for a bath on Sunday evening, but they went missing since then.
Their families and local authorities launched a search operation to locate them. The three bodies were recovered this morning.
