3-day Sports Meet of Arunachal Shiksha Vikash Samity gets underway

More than 600 students from 26 schools run by Arunachal Shiksha Vikash Samity all across the state are participating in the 3-day event
The 26th Annual Sports Meet of Arunachal Shiksha Vikash Samity (ASVS) is underway at Donyi-Polo Vidya Niketan in Talom Rukbo Nagar in the outskirts of Pasighat.
The 3-day Sports Meet has kickstarted yesterday.
More than 600 students from 26 schools run by Arunachal Shiksha Vikash Samity all across the state are participating in the 3-day event.
Taba Tadir, Minister of Education, Art & Culture and Indigenous Affairs, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh accompanied by Tai Tagak, Advisor to Chief Minister, Government of Arunachal Pradesh today attended the inaugural ceremony of the event yesterday.
Minister Tedir advised the students in his address to be sincere in all aspects of academics and sports.
Hard work is the only path to success, whether in education or sports, added Tedir, who modestly described himself as a student and says he is still learning because learning is a lifelong process.
The Minister also assured that the funds for the construction of a multipurpose hall and administrative block on the Donyi-Polo Vidya Niketan Pasighat campus would be granted as it is needed.
Golom Bagi, Social Worker, Bamang Tago, Secretary General Arunachal Olympic Association, Dr. Joram Anya, Vice President Arunachal Shiksha Vikash Samity, Tobar Jamoh, former Minister, Nanom Jamoh, Tayi Taggu DC Pasighat, SK Jha Supt.of Police Pasighat, Tapi Gao retired DEE, Dr. Kaling Dai, retired Jt. Director Health Services, Odhuk Tabing DDSE Pasighat attended the inaugural ceremony of the annual sports meet of ASVS.
