Sikkim’s Poet Simeyon Sukita Rai wins Poet Idol Season-2

Proud moment for Sikkim. Simeyon Sukita Rai, a poet from the state has won season 2 of the Poet Idol, a popular reality TV show of Nepal.

The first season of the reality show was won by poet Sikkim’s Neelam Gurung. 

Simeyon Sukita Rai hails from Namchi. 

Congratulating Rai on his success, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang praised his extraordinary talent, dedication, and passion for poetry and literature and said that winning such a prestigious title reflects the depth of his creativity and the impact of his words.
