Sikkim: General secy of SKM’s women wing, Pooja Sharma quits party

Pooja Sharma did not mention anything specific as to why she has resigned from the party.
Sikkim Krantikari Morcha’s general secretary of women wing, Pooja Sharma, has resigned from the party on Tuesday.
In her resignation letter addressed to party president, Pooja Sharma informed that she was not only resigning as the general secretary of the Nari (women) Wing of SKM, but she was also tendering her resignation from SKM primary membership and other responsibilities of the party with immediate effect.
However, she did not mention anything specific as to why she has resigned from the party.
On Monday, SKM released its full list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls and the lone Lok Sabha seat in Sikkim.
The list includes 3 sitting MLAs from the BJP who had resigned from the Party yesterday and joined SKM.
Yangang Rangang MLA Rajkumari Thapa, Dzongu MLA Pinsto Namgyal Lepcha and Martam Rumtek MLA Sonam Venchungpa have all resigned from the BJP.
