The BJP in Sikkim has decided to go solo in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, while the party came down heavily on the opposition Sikkim Krantikari Morcha.
Earlier, both the parties had decided to forge an alliance but however ended up failing to do so. Sikkim BJP president DB Chauhan alleged that the SKM delegation did not put forward a written proposal on its 8-point demand after meeting BJP national president Amit Shah and general secretary Ram Madhav.
The state BJP president also alleged that the SKM refrained from doing so despite the BJP central leadership giving consent to address their demands.
