Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch, aged 92 but soon to turn 93, has announced his upcoming wedding with his girlfriend, Elena Zhukova.

According to The New York Times, the wedding is set to take place in June. This will be Murdoch’s fifth marriage.

Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch is engaged to Elena Zhukova, more than 20 years his junior, marking the mogul’s sixth fiancée.

Last year, Murdoch had announced his engagement to Ann Lesley Smith, a dental hygienist turned conservative radio host. However, the wedding was called off less than a month later.

Now, Murdoch is set to marry Elena Zhukova, a retired molecular biologist who immigrated to the United States from Russia. Zhukova is 67 years old, making her 25 years younger than Murdoch. It is noteworthy that Elena’s daughter, Dasha Zhukova, is an arts patron and entrepreneur who was previously married to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.

Murdoch’s most recent marriage was to model Jerry Hall, the former partner of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. Murdoch has six children and has been married three times before. Last November, Murdoch handed over control of his global media empire to his son Lachlan and took on an emeritus status.
