Talking to reporters, Rikman Momin said that his main objective will be to strengthen the party ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and to take all party workers along as the BJP gears up for the Lok Sabha polls.

Outgoing president Ernest Mawrie said that he will continue to work to strengthen the party along with the party workers.

Apart from Ernest Mawrie, State in-charge of BJP Chuba Ao and Cabinet Minister AL Hek beside other BJP karyakartas were present at the event.
