One Killed, Several Injured in Multiple Accidents; Gas Cylinder Explosion Sparks Fire in Churachandpur

Just as things began to settle, a massive fire broke out around 1:30 AM at a house in Zosanglur, near Young Learners School.

A series of road accidents on Saturday night claimed the life of Lamminlun from Mata, Churachandpur district while several others sustained minor injuries. Adding to the chaos, a fire broke out in Zosanglur following a gas cylinder explosion, though firefighters managed to contain it in time.

In the first accident, a Bolero Jeep carrying four passengers overturned and skidded off the road after the driver lost control upon hitting a road safety sign at Lingsiphai village near the Jubilee Stones along Tedim Road. Tragically, Lamminlun died on the spot, while the other passengers suffered minor injuries.

Around the same time, another accident occurred at Bethel/Khomoi village along Tedim Road, where a Bolero Jeep and a Swift car collided head-on. Fortunately, reports later confirmed that there were no serious injuries.

Meanwhile, another Bolero overturned at New Lamka, according to reports.

Just as things began to settle, a massive fire broke out around 1:30 AM at a house in Zosanglur, near Young Learners School, following the explosion of three gas cylinders. However, before the flames could spread to nearby residences, firefighters managed to bring the situation under control.
