The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) on Monday reiterated that the Framework Agreement is the only key to an honourable and acceptable solution for durable peace.
In his address on the occasion of the 43rd NSCN Raising Day held on January 31, NSCN-IM chairman Q Tuccu said that the political significance of the Framework Agreement lies in the fact that the Government of India and NSCN have entered into an agreement to establish a new relationship for peaceful co-existence of the two entities on the basis of shared sovereignty.
This is the only key to an acceptable and honourable solution.
Tuccu also said that the NSCN is totally against economic packages or imposed political packages.

Tuccu said that what happened in Oting in Mon is one of the most painful incidents in the history of the Naga political struggle.
