Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman lands in Sikkim for a 4-day visit to the state

She will be attending the post-budget interaction and thereafter she will interact with students of Sikkim University
The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has arrived in Sikkim for a four-day visit to the state.
The Finance Minister will be in the state till March 2, 2023. During her visit to the state, she will be participating in various scheduled programmes. She will be attending the post-budget interaction and thereafter she will interact with students of Sikkim University.
According to the official Twitter handle of the Union Minister, today at around 3.30 pm the Union Minister will participate in the Budget Outreach Programme which will be held at Chintan Bhawan in Gangtok where she will be interacting with the members of Industry and Trade, tax practitioners, and the members of Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME).
At around 5 pm, she will also address a press briefing at Chintan Bhawan, followed by an interaction with the students of the university and colleges at around 6 pm.
Later in the evening, the Union minister will attend a cultural programme at Samman Bhawan in Gangtok.
On February 28, the Union Minister will interact with the members of the Self-Help Group at MG Marg, after which she will participate in the outreach programme organised by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) at Chintan Bhawan.
On March 1, the Minister will inaugurate a State Bank of India (SBI) ATM at Lachen in North Sikkim.
She will depart from Sikkim on March 2, 2023.
