The Core Committee's meeting with Shah had to be postponed as the latter is out of the station.

The Core Committee on Naga Political Issues led by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio met peace talks interlocutor AK Mishra in Delhi for an informal discussion on the progress of the Naga peace talks.

The Core Committee delegation which met NEDA convener Himanta Biswa Sarma before leaving for Delhi is also slated to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah tomorrow or the day after.

The Core Committee’s meeting with Shah had to be postponed as the latter is out of the station.

The Core Committee which is playing the role of a facilitator in the Naga peace talks is trying hard to break the deadlock in peace negotiations owing to the NSCN-IM’s firm stand on the separate flag and constitution issue.

Sources, meanwhile, are tight-lipped on whether the Core Committee has taken along with it a proposal to be submitted to Union Home Minister Amit Shah so as to break the deadlock.
