Meghalaya Power crisis: Load shedding may continue, says MeECL

Meghalaya’s power woes are far from over.

Sanjay Goyal, the chairman and managing director of Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited, or MeECL, has pointed out that although there has been a rise in the water level at Umiam by almost 6 to 7 feet, it is still not enough to ensure uninterrupted power supply in the state.
