Opposition tag would shift to the defectors. Sawkmie maintained that Congress is still the Opposition party in the state. Sawkmie added that there cannot be 2 opposition parties in the same House in the form of Opposition A or Opposition B.
PT Sawkmie maintained that Congress has extended support to the government only for the sake of the betterment of the people and resolving public issues.
Meanwhile, Rambrai Jyrngam MLA Kimfa Marbaniang said that Congress is not desperate to support the MDA government. Marbaniang said that those who have made such accusation have a better understanding as to who have betrayed the people. The Congress MLA said that all the party MLAs are intact and would work for the betterment of people.
