Meghalaya: 293 new recruited individuals receives their appointment letters

Rozgar Mela scheme was launched by Prime Minister Modi on October 22, last year in an efforts to abate unemployment in the country

A total of 293 newly recruited individuals in various departments of Meghalaya government were handed over the appointment letters in a programme organised at State Convention Center in Shillong today.
Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs, John Barla, distributed the appointment letters to the newly inducted recruits under Rozgar Mela (employment fair).

Speaking to the media after the distribution of appointment letters, the Union Minister highlighted the changes the Rozgar Mela has brought.

He said that through this initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to provide employment to nearly 1 lakh unemployed youth in the country.

Today, the Rozgar Mela was organised at 46 different locations in the country, during which about 51,0,00 candidates all over the country were given their appointment letters.

The Rozgar Mela scheme was launched by Prime Minister Modi on October 22, last year in an efforts to abate unemployment in the country.
