The Manipur government is actively considering handing over the Nagamapal blast case to the National Investigation Agency.
This was confirmed to Northeast Live exclusively by Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh.
The Chief Minister said that though they have not made a decision yet, they are actively considering handing over the case to NIA.
THE Nagamapal blast took place on October 20 killing one CRPF jawan at the Nagamapal area in Imphal West district.
Recently, police had arrested five persons including the president of a civil society organisation.
