The Manipur Government has approved the 7th UGC Pay and Regulations for the Government College teachers in the State.

The approval came following a meeting between the representatives of the Federation of Government College Teachers’ Association and the Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh late Tuesday evening.

This was informed by Federation of Government College Teachers’ Associations (FEGOCTA) General Secretary N Somorendro.

Following the approval of the 7th UGC Pay and Regulations, the FEGOCTA has suspended all forms of protest and normal classes have resumed in the colleges.
